LIM

Schematic diagram outlining the mode of action of LEUKOCARE’s Leukocyte Inhibition Module (LIM): The LIM is designed for insertion into heart lung machine circuits. Activated Leukocytes are driven into apoptosis by transient contact with a surface coupled anti Fas IgM antibody to reduce systemic inflammation and immune response upon reentry of the Leukocytes into the body. The device is successfully clinically tested.

LEUKOCARE´s LIM can can be seamlessly integrated into extracorporal blood circuits. The concept of inactivating Leukocytes may be easily adjusted to a broad variety of different therapeutic needs by modifying the effector molecule.

BMP2

BMP2: Bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs) impact growth and formation of bone material. Surface coupled BMPs retain their activity during storage and irradiation if protected by SPS.
