LEUKOCARE’s patented SPS technology platform consists of physiological and non-toxic small molecule ingredients generally recognized as safe (GRAS status), which are individually customized to the specific needs of each substrate or product. SPS forms an amorphous coat protecting biological macromolecules against chemical and physical stress. SPS also enables terminal sterilization of biologics by irradiation or gas and helps to significantly reduce production costs by replacing aseptic production by terminal sterilization.
